Management Reporter stores all of its Building Block definitions in its SQL database. This includes all of Management Reporter's Row Definitions, Column Definitions, Reporting Tree Definitions and Report Definitions.

Microsoft FRx stored Building Block definitions in a .f32 file which was usually stored in the FRx SysData network folder.  Neither the .f32 files nor the SysData folder are used with Management Reporter other than when the Management Reporter Migration Wizard converts Building Block definitions from the FRx .f32 files into the Management Reporter SQL database. The Management Reporter Migration Wizard is usually a one-time migration performed at the beginning (following installation) of a Management Reporter implementation upgrading from FRx.
