Today I helped a customer who had an issue with reports that were displaying on one page within the Viewer but printed to two pages.

Below is a summary of the settings in Management Reporter to share with all regarding general report formatting:

• Report Definition: on the Settings tab, click the Other button to adjust Margins (top, bottom, left, right); Scaling of shrink to page width and reduce/enlarge percentages, Page Orientation of portrait or landscape
• Column Definition: Font Size & Style you may apply to both the column headers and the column type field (e.g. the DESC, FD type of column field you may apply a font style to for all numbers/descriptions in that column); Column Widths to adjust by number of characters wide or use AutoFit option
• Row Definition: Font Size & Style you may apply to the Description field (Column B in the Row Definition). This was the fix for your report scenario as you confirmed later by email.

Hi - is there a way to default MR reports exported to excel in normal view vs. page layout view.  My excel hangs when opening because of the view layout.

Thanks,

Scott

Yes, the latest release of Management Reporter 2012 CU11 does have the ability to predefine in the Report Definition output tab to have the Excel file be opened in the Normal view (or page layout view).
