So as I understand it FRx uses an ODBC DSN connection to access Elite. This is of course set up on any user's computer (system) who accesses FRx. While I am familiar enough with setting these up, it isn't clear to me (historically) why we have this connection autenticating to a SQL User rather than Windows Authentication.

Moreover, when I try changing it to a connection that does use Windows Authentication, you're challenged with a user name password by FRx and nothing works. I half expected to not be challenged so-to-speak.

Also, bear in mind I myself already have administrator privilages, and users have access via a group.

Everything is fine with a SQL User, but obviously we'd like to avoid that if at all possible.

Any ideas?
