FRx 6.x is 32-bit application and not supported running on a 64-bit version of Windows.

Some parts of FRx 6.7 may work on a 64-bit version of Windows due to the 32-bit compatibility layer (WoW64).  However, this environment is not tested or supported. The parts that may not work are Security, Excel import\export, Report Wizard, Report Manager, Report Server and Webport.. Microsoft recommends running FRx 6.7 server modules on a VM machine with a 32-bit version of Windows Server.

FRx service pack 9 or later is compatible with Windows Vista. FRx 6.7 service pack 11 or later is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, but only with 32-bit versions not 64-bit versions.

FRx 6.7 should have no problem retrieving data from a 64-bit SQL Server database.

Is the FRx server installation compatible with VM?  I am concerned that we only use VM on 64 bit Windows Server machines

After installing FRx 6.7.4 thru SP11 to a Windows 7/64 bit machine received the following message: Error Code 1805: Error in Function: dAppPortMonitor, Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.FRx launched, but we are unable to select a default company. When selecting the FW Company message returning stating "Cannot create GL index". To my recollection there is no GL index to create with the FW or FWC companies......
Any ideas would be appreciated.

When launching application right click on the FRx icon and run as administrator.
